John Butler, one of Australia’s most prolific independent artists, is set to release his latest album ‘PRISM’, the third instalment of his four-part ‘The Four Seasons’ project that has already seen the release of the ambient album ‘Running River’ and the instrumental ‘Still Searching’ in 2024.
While ‘PRISM’ possesses a full throttle band sound, it was crafted entirely solo by Butler and uber producer James Ireland, both sharing instrumentation and production responsibilities.

On ‘PRISM’, Butler laces his deeply personal tales with an epic soundscape and reclaims his classic groove-laden force, brimming with fierce guitars, robust percussion and meteoric choruses.
