Apples For Isaac is a monumental return from Echo & The Bunnymen, their first album of newly-written songs in over a decade. From the first few moments of opener ‘Take Me By The Hand’ it’s apparent that the band have lost none of the urgency of their early work. The lead single ‘Brussels Is Haunted’ is emblematic of the band’s proud legacy, with life-affirming chorus worthy of one of post-punk’s forefathers.

All but one of the tracks on Apples for Isaac also feature the late drummer Clem Burke, who sadly passed away during its creation:
