The man who wrote countless hits has by no means lost his knack for emotional song beads, presented in an unmistakable voice. On the contrary, his talent has matured like good wine. In contrast to many colleagues of his age, David Crosby has also remained musically awake and experimenting. His new album was created in collaboration with Michael League, the creative head of the trendy jazz & funk collective Snarky Puppy and various musicians of the band. Of course, this has by no means become a jazz album, but again a work in the typical David Crosby sound, but the fascinating complexity of the songs shows that the collaboration of the two sparks has beaten.
