A No.5 hit at home and a chart contender around the world, the album included the global smash hit ‘Do You Really Want to Hurt Me’ and the playful horns-assisted pop of ‘I’ll Tumble 4 Ya’, alongside seven other songs that showcased the group’s catchy mix of new wave, pop, reggae and soul music. With their genre- mashing sound and vibrant fashions influencing today’s up-and-coming acts, Culture Club’s popularity shows no sign of dimming, and you wouldn’t bet against them adding to the long list of awards they’ve already amassed in their four-decade-plus career.
