After 50 years, and 40 years for me personally, Vibes Records is going to close permanently (Unless you want to take over the mantle)! Yes, It's my time for retirement, and that is.... to be fair, good news for me....for you, you can fill your boots with 25% off everything in store...and to be fair, that's good news for you!

25% DISCOUNT WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE APPLIED ON CHECKOUT

I must say, It's been a pleasure and a privilege, I personally have enjoyed every single moment and take away the best memories . Over the years we have had the best staff....beautiful people, passionate about the music they love and the part they played in making Vibes one of the biggest, best and most loved singular Independent record stores in the UK. The artists and bands that have come through the doors through the 70s & 80s is quite something, to the instore signings and instore gigs of the 90 & 2000s, wow what a time, It's a shame outside influences ended that, but it certainly didn't stop us carrying on in some way.

The beautiful thing about music, and especially folk buying physical product, they want more than just the music, it's a lifestyle, It's a passion, and thankfully so many stores are doing this in 2026, so continue to support them, I'll name just 3 here now that have the passion, that will not fade, will not let you down, Piccadilly Records, Manchester, Wax & Beans, Bury, Action Records, Preston....Support them, they are all amazing.

Also, a massive thank you to you, our customers, new and old, you have always been amazing, and so supportive, It's the saddest thing packing up and realising there'll be no more interaction, I'll see some of you that's for sure, but for those regulars far away...sincere thank you's from us here at Vibes

The sell-off will go on until the end of November, we'll then see what's left!

At least by Christmas I'll have more time to listen to my vinyl, and probably get to a few extra gigs too.

For now, Thank you & Goodnight x
